The Photography Experience
How does it work?
STEP 1 - Get in Touch
You can either email, call or fill out the contact form to let us know you are interested in talking more about a Photography session. We will schedule a pre-consultation phone call or a visit the studio where we can chat about you and what you are wanting in a photo session. It's super important for me to find out your likes, your dislikes, what you love and the style of artwork you want created. Which rooms in your home do you plan to hang your artwork and the decor style of these spaces? Would a folio box collection suit your needs or an album to tell your story?
An investment/session fee of $150 is due at the time of the booking. Please note: No products or images are included in your booking fee.
Once you have signed the Maria Buhrkuhl Photography booking agreement and paid your initial investment, your booking date is officially reserved.
Step 2 - Before your session
Once your booking is made we will send you information guides to help you prepare for your session. What to wear? What to bring? And what to expect? A few days before your session we will touch base with you and go over any final details and questions you may have. Get ready for a fabulous, fun experience.
Step 3 - Photo fun time! - Your Photography session
Finally your photo session day has arrived. We will see you at the studio or at our location meeting spot. Whatever style of session you have chosen, your photography experience with Maria will be relaxed and fun.
Step 4 - SHOW TIME - The design appointment
A few weeks after your photography session you’ll come to the studio to view your image gallery in a cinematic slideshow. This viewing session takes place approximately 2-3 weeks after your session. During the session you can select the images from your gallery you absolutely LOVE. We’ll discuss wall art, relook at your home’s décor and what you plan to do with your photographs. To help you visualise your artwork in your home, I’ll design wall art concepts and albums to make the decision-making process easier for you.
At the viewing session you place your portrait order and make payment. It is essential all decision makers are present for this appointment so ordering can be completed.
Once your order has been finalised, your images will be taken through a further fine editing process to ensure all of your completed Artworks exceed the highest professional standards in the industry. Production of your Artwork order is created with in-house controlled fine art printing in conjunction with a range of local and international high quality framers and Artisan production houses. Production times can range between 2 - 6 weeks depending on the style and size of your order. Once all artwork is completed you will be notified via phone that they are ready for pick up or delivery.
Step 5 - Your finished artworks
As soon as your artwork arrives you will be notified straight away. Now it's the most exciting part of all - taking your precious artworks home to hang and display in the most perfect places where you will smile and get warm fuzzies every time you see them!
Make sure you send us a photo when it is up on the walls, we love to see that last step!
